The Monster arrives

Jonas Gustavsson made the decision on Saturday night, to sign a pro contract with the Philadelphia Flyers. The deal is reportly worth 4 years @ 2.6 million per season. Some critics are already speculation that the Flyers over paid, but other see it as a gamble that could pay off. "Jonas was the number one guy on our FA list. We feel he can step in and help cut down on Toskala's minutes. We feel with our offense upfront, our steady defense, Jonas helps stabilize us between the pipes now as well. Are we worried about the salary cap? No we will take precautions to get ourselves under and leave us a little wiggle room." GM Trivett Rumor are running rampant in Philly, that one or two players may be on the move now that Gustavsson has signed his deal. In a side not the Flyers also announce the signing of FA Chris Bourque. Bourque contract is two way contract which will more then likely see the winger start the season with the Phantoms
