Good Start For The Rookie

Jonas Gustavsson has so far found his mark with the Flyers, despite a .500 record. "You take away his wins and losses and his numbers are better then any netminder this organization had so far in DCHL" GM Trivett Gustavsson has seen his minutes increased with the trade of Toskala earlier in the season. GM Trivett made in known that there is currently no number one goaltender in Philly at the moment, that the job is for who ever wants to grab the reigns and run with it. While Mason is 4-2 since joining the Flyers is GAA and Save Percentage have been shakey at best, something the fans got used to with Toskala. Enter Jonas Gustavsson, the Flyers have played 14 games since Toskala was traded, Gustavsson has found himself to be the starter in 8 of those contest going 5-3. Jonas currently sits with GAA of 2.59 and save percetage of .913. He would sit amongst the league leader had he played more minutes. Gustavsson is young and will only get better, and so far he has given Philly fans something they have yet to have, a solid masked man in the crease.
