Goaltending controversy in Philly
Jonas Gustavsson recorded his first career shutout against the New York Rangers. This just happen to be Gustavsson 9th consecutive win. On this streak Gustavsson has seen his record improve to 15-5-1 on the season. As things stand at the moment he is currently number one in the league in save percentage and sits sixth in GAA. On the other side, reports are circulating that Chris Mason is not happy with his role as bench warmer and has requested to be traded. GM Trivett refused to comment on this rumour. We are exploring trades on a couple of our guys, but I will not confirm which ones. Source are also saying the Chris Higgins maybe also on the bubble in Philly, but then again these are just rumours
